How lucky we are to have our animal companions in our lives! Today is my handsome Claude’s birthday but he has passed away. Thankful for all of our days together and to have Harvey and Flora with me now:}

Oh, how Claude will be missed as your friend and model. He was beautiful and looks like he was quite a character. One can see the personality in his sweet face. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Thanks Ginene! He was a truly gorgeous creature and a true friend. Have you had dogs or cats in your life that will always be special to you?

Oh, yes, many dogs and cats. I live alone now and I found two feral cats that live in the building now. It took some time but now we are like three bugs in a rug. They even come in the shop and let people pet them. It is amazing how they have changed.

That’s nice! Our local garden shop has a cat that wandered in and stayed and our library had one too. Feral cats can be so skittish, that is pretty amazing.

I know how you feel, Cynthia. I had two cats for a long time, and every year I remember one of the cat’s birthday. He was extra special somehow.

Your Claude was a handsome fellow, and your pups look so sweet! I often think of how many times a day I smile at something Riley (85 pound dog) or The Tines (10 year old cat) does. I often work from home & they simply make every day a joy.

Thanks! They really are great. Yours sound fun too. 85 pounds! That is a REALLY big dog!

Your dogs are beautiful! I’m sorry to hear about Claude. My Persian got to the ripe old age of 17…and it’s always hard when any member of the family departs 😦
